Art work for Mill Pool

What can we say other than local children have had a great time painting stones and leaving them around the area as well as doing art work for the entrances at The Milky. It was really hard to pick out winning designs so we had to ask our Partnership to vote. Here's the winning design. You can see the virtual art gallery with lots of amazing art work here. Three art works were chosen so that the entrances to The Milky will look amazing. Many thanks to all the children who took part, you really have showed us that you are budding artists.

This is stage 2 of the work planned on the Milky.

Sandwell MBC have already done a great deal of clearance on the site in readiness for the spring leaves to sprout.

You can now see daffodils poking up under the trees.

Sandwell Council have been commissioned by Hateley Cross Big Local to make repairs to the footpaths and to repair and repaint the benches over the next few weeks.

Stage 3 will be the installation of new picnic benches around the Milky before the end of March!!
