This is stage 2 of the work planned on the Milky.
Sandwell MBC have already done a great deal of clearance on the site in readiness for the spring leaves to sprout.
You can now see daffodils poking up under the trees.
Sandwell Council have been commissioned by Hateley Cross Big Local to make repairs to the footpaths and to repair and repaint the benches over the next few weeks.
Stage 3 will be the installation of new picnic benches around the Milky before the end of March!!
